This is not an official Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint site. BRASS (Bonneville Region area Serving Singles) is not your normal Singles function. We are not a dance, fireside or a place to find your next partner. We are a place for enlightenment, fun and socializing, making new friends. We have Keynote speakers, workshops and dinners or lunches with entertainment. UPCOMING AND PAST EVENTS PAGE.
We also have a page called meet-ups that is for getting together with others that have similar interests. The hope is that this will encourage you to create your own social opportunities in between the quarterly events and not just wait for the ones planned for you. Hopefully this will help you create new friendships and fight off some of the loneliness that many people experience.
MISSION AND VISION
The vision of the Bonneville Regional Singles Council is to empower and inspire the singles in this age group to show up to strengthen their faith, confidence and purpose; knowing that this stage of their life is intended to be satisfying and important. Encouraging everyone and helping you expand your own personal growth while helping others to expand theirs.
We are committed to supporting Singles 46+ as they engage in another powerful phase of their lives. Providing quality and inspiring events for them to help with and participate in.
GOAL AND MANTRA
The goal of these activities is to give the singles a way to come together and socialize while sharing their talents. The hope is that we will be able to reach out to many who do not participate in activities. As with all functions the more you can get them involved in meaningful ways the better the turn out and the more they get to know each other.
LIVE A LIFE OF FAITH WITH LOVE, PASSION AND PURPOSE! We believe in the limitless potential of each person. We extend our circle of influence by reaching across boundaries to attract people from all circumstances and cultures within our region.
LIVING YOUR DREAM - BELIEVE, BELONG, BE STRONG
Quote from the song “Know this that every soul is free to choose”
“Know this, that every soul is free to choose his life and what he’ll be, For this eternal truth is given That God will force no man to heav’n”.
Each of us has the opportunity, and may I say responsibility, of deciding what we will do and what we will be. A line from the musical South Pacific says, “You’ve got to have a dream. If you don’t have a dream, how you going to have a dream come true?”
How true this is. It is well for us to remind ourselves periodically that every human being is divinely endowed with talents, with dignity, and with worth. They must dream and work, to shape their interests and aspirations. Elder Franklin D. Richards.
There is a potential to be a wonderful missionary tool as people catch the idea of reaching out to singles who are inactive or who are non-member neighbors. We encourage Ministering Teachers and Ward Missionaries to share the information with the singles they meet with in this age group.
